I went to 4 grocery stores before I could find ingredients for a stew. I saw two women fighting over brocolli. Guy at a gas station filled up no less than ten 5-gallon gas cans....

“ Gluten-free bread lines.”
Heh. So much good stuff there, but I’m not sure how I feel about making comedy out of so much human suffering.

Oddly enough, when the produce sections were absolutely bare, there was one item that was still well-stocked.

If it shovels the snow, it is a snow shovel!
I feel your pain. I don’t like the snow much. Hope things get back to normal for you soon.

If it makes you feel any better...a total fire ban has been declared across our entire state with severe fire danger conditions (due to drought, tinder dry vegetation, high air temperatures and windy conditions) in every fire district except one and that one has been rated as extreme.
It's going to be an interesting day...

That last tag is inaccurate.
Subaru switched to Schroedinger’s Head Gaskets. It is both intact and blown until you check the temperature gauge.

How did you shovel it? I really dislike shoveling so I picked this up from craigslist a couple of years ago.

With a very small, short, flat spade shovel. Ooodles of fun.

I really had no clue that you guys didnt get snow. I was out there a couple of years back and felt the buildings looked really well insulated and snow worthy. So it just gets really cold?

When I was a kid, we would have cold snaps and ice storms, but maybe one or two small snow events, usually in late fall or early springm December and January were just rain, February had the frigid, clear days.
